the journey God has taken me and is continuing to walk me through has been an adventure filled with joy, pain, laughter, trials and redemption. God took me from being a strong, homeschooling singlemom and after being faithful with that season, He has blessed me with a loving husband and has blessed my son with a wonderful father. their relationship has been so grafted by God that when you see them, you would never think that he was my son's stepfather. the bible says that "when God blesses us, He adds no trouble to it" and God has definitely blessed me and my son with a very good man.
but that ain't to say that marriage ain't easy. yes marriage is a lot of fun and it's wonderful having someone love you unconditionally...but oh my goodness...it's about one of the hardest things a person can ever do. because marriage magnifies your imperfection in front of another person. it shows you how selfish you really are and how much you have to grow. atleast that's what it is showing me anyway. soooo from an adventure of being a crazy, independent single mom, God is now taking me on another adventure to in learning on how to be a crazy wifey/married mom. to read more about my crazy adventure, stupid mistakes, and lessons learned in this new season of mine...go ahead and click here.
